Saw Palmetto honey is a rare and unique variety of honey that is highly sought after for its distinctive flavor and numerous health benefits. This specialty honey is derived from the nectar of the saw palmetto plant, which is native to the southeastern United States, particularly in Florida. When you taste saw palmetto honey for the first time, you'll notice its rich, robust flavor with a slightly smoky and earthy undertone. It's less sweet than typical clover or wildflower honey, making it a great choice for those who prefer a more complex and less sugary taste.

Robust, earthy, and "buttery" with a dark amber color.

Frequently asked questions

My honey crystallized — is it still good?

Yes! Crystallization is a natural sign of pure, raw honey. To return it to liquid, place the jar in warm (not boiling) water. Never microwave it — that destroys the enzymes that make raw honey special.

What does "never heat treated" actually mean?

Most commercial honey is pasteurized at high temperatures. We never heat our honey above hive temperature, so the pollen, propolis and natural enzymes stay intact — along with the flavor.

Is raw honey safe for everyone?

Raw honey is safe for adults and children over 12 months. Like all honey, it should never be given to infants under one year old.

Will it ship safely in the Florida heat?

Absolutely. Honey is shelf-stable and ships beautifully. Each jar is wrapped and packed in St. Augustine.
